Christ calls us to serve others. Immaculate Conception Catholic School does many service projects. Some projects are school-wide and some are classroom-based.
Projects include:
Rice Bowl Lenten Project
Veterans Day Program and thank you cards for veterans
Stores Galore benefiting charities
Applying for a Meadows Foundation grant and using the funds to buy much needed items for the Catholic Charities Assessment Center
Collection of baby items for Loreto House
Souper Bowl collection of soup for the Our Daily Bread soup kitchen
Collection of non-perishable food and toiletry items at the last Mass of each month
Fourth grade's St. Dominic Savio Club meets weekly. Upper School student are required to complete service hours: 20 hours of outside service during their eighth grade year, 10 hours in their seventh grade year, and 6 hours in their sixth grade year.
During Catholic Schools Week, we collected over 700 soup cans and held a sculpture contest among our Upper School students!
