The Art Program at Immaculate Conception Catholic School incorporates the school's mission of development of the whole child. The school has the honor of having professional artist Tina Jezek as the director of the program. Mrs. Jezek's many years of expertise in the area of design and art are just the beginning of her God-given talents. She is such a gift to Our Lady's School and dedicates every second of her efforts here at the school and parish to her students and to the overall program at ICCS.
Among her many projects include Director of the annual Christmas Program in which she designs and sews all of the costumes. She coordinates liturgy preparation which includes the annual Living Stations of the Cross. For the 2021-22 school year, Mrs. Jezek teaches art to our students in grades 4-8.
As an elective and art teacher, Mrs. Jezek puts her expertise as a Master Gardener to work in Our Lady's Garden. Under her supervision, Upper School students have been involved with the Service Learning Garden with produce being sent to the local food kitchen. The older students have been involved with everything from laying tile for the patio learning area, putting together benches, and helping to build a greenhouse.
We remain blessed and grateful for Mrs. Jezek's amazing dedication to her students and to Our Lady's School!
