I am originally from Wisconsin and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from the University of Wisconsin at Madison; the following year I earned my Master’s in Communications Disorders from the University of Wisconsin at Whitewater. During my career I have worked with students and adults with disabilities in the areas of speech/language disorders and worked as a job coach to place adults in competitive employment and community participation opportunities. I also worked as a job coach in the Frisco ISD to provide students with internship opportunities; we provided training and educated students on essential career tasks while partnering with host businesses. In September I began volunteering in the kindergarten classroom here at Our Lady’s School; I feel very fortunate to work with these young students and to see them grow in their faith and their academics.
My husband Bob and I are members of Immaculate Conception Parish. We enjoy our trips to Houston to visit our son and daughter-in-law and our 4-year-old twin grandchildren! In my free time I enjoy cooking and volunteering.
