I was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado, on the Air Force Academy where my father was in the Air Force. I was raised in Port Chester, NY. I received an Associate’s degree in Medical Lab Technology.

I then moved to Florida in the early 80’s where I met my future husband Dave. We’ve been married for 35 years and have three beautiful children, twin boys and a daughter. God has blessed us with our first grandchild, Amelia Mae.

Prior to becoming a mom I worked in the banking industry where I held many positions, including having my own branch, where I was a Branch Manager. After the kids came along I left banking and I began my career in the education industry. Over the years I’ve held many positions and titles including teacher’s aide, PE teacher, after school daycare provider, certified paraprofessional, office payroll assistant and Title 1 Tutor.

My passion is and always will be doing whatever I can to be sure the students look forward to coming to school each day!
