Hi, I am Mrs. Marshall, teacher for 3rd & 4th grade math and science and 7th grade math
I would like to share some background information on myself. I grew up in rural Nebraska (go Huskers) on our family farm with 6 siblings. I went to Creighton University in Omaha, NE, where I received my bachelor's degree in mathematics with a minor in secondary education. After graduation, I was hired at Skutt Catholic High School, where I taught algebra and geometry. I met and married my husband at this time and due to a job relocation for him, moved to Kansas and started teaching 7th and 8th grade math at Prince of Peace Catholic School. We started our family and I spent time at home with our 4 children and ended up moving 3 more times for my husband's job, to Virginia, Georgia, then here to Texas 9 years ago. I worked to be certified to teach in Texas, started substitute teaching here at Immaculate Conception, then was hired at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic School in Keller. I taught 4th grade math and science my first year at SEAS then spent 2 years teaching 5th and 6th grade math. Five years ago, I came back to Immaculate Conception and have taught 3rd through 8th grade math along with 3rd through 5th grade science. I am very happy to be part of the staff here at Immaculate Conception and look forward to working with the students and parents the rest of this year.
