What is the Gift Card Program? The Benefits of the Gift Card Program Buy or Sell for Volunteer Hours
What is it? The Gift Card Program provides gift certificates and gift cards to restaurants, grocery stores, retail stores, gas stations, and other merchants. How do I use the Gift Card Program? Just like any other gift card or certificate. Buy it from us--use it at the merchant. For example: Buy a Barnes & Noble $10 card, and buy a book at Barnes & Noble. Buy a $25 Starbucks, and get ready for some coffee! How does ICCS make a profit on the Gift Card Program sales? ICCS buys these gift cards at a discount from a national vendor, sells them to YOU at face value, and makes a profit that is major part of our fund raising every year. We raise between $12,000-$14,000 each year with the Gift Card Program.
The Benefits of the Gift Card Program: What you pay for is exactly what you get. A $25 Home Depot card is worth $25 at Home Depot. A $10 Pizza Hut card is worth $10 at Pizza Hut. Our list includes 80 different merchants. Most we carry in stock when we sell; others you may order and it will arrive within a week. Think of us as “one-stop-shopping.” No more running around for gifts, etc. We can sell you Home Depot, Kroger, Red Lobster, Payless Shoes and Shell Gas cards all at one time! Easy! The Gift Card Program helps you budget your dollars for items you already buy, like groceries, gas, clothing, meals out, etc. Use it for Christmas, office purchases, birthdays, travel needs, weekly grocery purchases, etc. Earn volunteer hours for buying or selling: 3 volunteer hours for each Sunday sales date; 1 hour for each atrium sales date; 1 point for every $100 of gift cards you purchase from ICCS.
How do you buy gift cards? There are several ways.
In person, after Masses at ICC or St. Mark’s Church each week; or in the school office during regular business hours; in the atrium on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month in the atrium from 2:30-3:30 p.m.; and at special events, like socials, etc. Via an order form, included in each brown envelope and in the atrium pockets. Simply write in your order, include your payment and send it back in the brown envelope. By downloading the order form from the ICCS website. Simply download, print, complete and take to the office. How do I pay for the gift cards? Cash, or check made payable to “ICCS.”
Earn Volunteer Hours: Buy or Sell Gift Cards! No experience is necessary to sell gift cards, because we will train you. It is a great way to earn your volunteer hours, and to help fundraise for the school. Bilingual sellers are needed to help at the Spanish Mass at ICC.

KROGER RELOADABLE FUNDRAISING CARD
During 2003-04, Kroger did away with paper the Gift Card Program, and now offers a reloadable fundraising card. Here are the facts:
Note: At this time, we are unable to track Kroger reloads for the purpose of earning volunteer hours.
